Music has always been an important part of Khalifa's life, even as a young child, you would find her singing along to her mother’s Yolanda Adams cassettes and Lauryn Hill CDs. Khalifa grew up singing and dancing in church, as well as making up dances during recess and in her bedroom. With influences like Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson, Khalifa always felt connected to the performing arts.

Originally from Long island, Khalifa moved to Florida, where she grew up in a small town, but dreamed of the big city. She earned her BFA in Musical Theatre at the University of Central Florida in Orlando where she was able to start working professionally. Khalifa has sailed with Norwegian Cruise Lines and has experienced the magic of working with Disney in Orlando; as well as Hong Kong where she starred as Nala in Festival of the Lion King and friend of Tiana in Mickey and the Wondrous Book.

Since returning to New York City, Khalifa has portrayed the title role in Elton John and Tim Rice's AIDA , Deena Jones in Dreamgirls, and ensemble of Hairspray at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. Aside from the fine arts, Khalifa enjoys writing original songs, New York City life, baking cookies, traveling and enjoying her favorite Jamaican cuisines. She also loves watching movies with family and friends. Khalifa has a very special relationship with smoothies, pretzels, Nutella and her mother.

Khalifa gives special thanks to God, her family and supportive friends.
